本系致力於培養新代樂活產業人才,並深知整健康及環境永續的專業與未來趨勢之洞察力兼具,才能在不斷變化的世界擁有競爭力,故擬定本系人才教育目標如下:

專業發展特色
本系的「領域核心學程」,以培育實踐樂活精神與永續發展的職場就業人才為目標。在「領域專業學程」則是為了培育健康與永續生活方式的實踐者,規劃兩個系專業選修學程,分別是「永續創新學程」及「整合健康學程」。在課程規專業發展特色如下:

Educational Objectives
Rooted in the humanistic values and global vision of Fo Guang University, the Department of LOHAS Industry is dedicated to nurturing future professionals equipped with a strong foundation in holistic health, sustainable development, and social responsibility. In a world of constant change, we aim to cultivate talent with interdisciplinary integration skills, innovative thinking, and a compassionate outlook. Our objectives are:
1. To nurture practitioners who embody and promote healthy and sustainable lifestyles
2. To develop professionals with cross-disciplinary competence in emerging trends and industry management
3. To foster socially engaged individuals committed to sustainability and community well-being

Program Features and Academic Focus
Aligned with the core values of Humanism, Wisdom, Innovation, and Sustainability—hallmarks of Fo Guang University—our department offers a comprehensive curriculum integrating the principles of LOHAS (Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability).


The Core Curriculum focuses on developing professional capabilities rooted in the LOHAS spirit and sustainable living. Students may further specialize through two Professional Elective Tracks:
• Sustainable Innovation Program
• Integrated Health Program

Our curriculum emphasizes:
1. LOHAS practices that support holistic well-being and environmental sustainability
2. A forward-looking mindset through the lens of futures studies
3. Interdisciplinary learning and applied research opportunities
4. Active engagement in social care and industry-academic collaboration

We also emphasize experiential learning and community-based engagement, reflecting Fo Guang University’s mission to integrate compassion and service into education.
